Our daughter(8) gets "Eagle's Wings" which is a CPO kid's comic. She found the idea in that of celebrating "All Saints" Day on the following day instead. The suggestion in the comic is that children can dress up as Bible characters. I'm not sure - sounds as if it could be seen as a pale imitation of Halloween itself, and it would be good to have positive ideas for what we could do, that could become a family tradition. Our children love short services in our own home, that involve them through reading short responses, that involve a meal (usually on the floor) and where there is at least one candle glowing. Maybe someone could come up with something folk could use at home?
