    TrickorTreat

Newly moved as Vicar to outer city estate, so no time to organise alternative hallowe'en events/outreach. We are likely to be targets for Trick or Treat and at least "egged" if we refuse. Apart from that we don't eant to totally alienate the young poeople of the parish. Any suggestions about how positively to handle Trick or Treaters when the doorbell rings?

Well, I hope you had a peaceful evening. I'm sorry I missed your enquiry earlier although I'm not sure I could have been much help. We've always taken a polite but firm no thank you line and in 18 years only been egged once but then the youths concerned found they had to clear up the mess :-)
