'Make
a will' plea
to Christians from Credit Action
Credit Action has just released the latest in its series of Better Money Management
Guides - A Guide to Making a Will.
Sponsored by Stewardship Services, the booklet demonstrates why it is so important
to draw up a will and how and when to do it.
Keith Tondeur, the National Director of Credit Action said: "It is an amazing
statistic that more than 70% of adults die in Britain without making a will.
All
indications are that a similar figure would apply to Christians.
Many of us seem to assume that people will know where we want our children
to live, or where our assets should be distributed on our deaths. It costs next
to nothing to draw up a will and with a little planning much heartache could
be removed. Good stewardship also involves having our affairs in order and up
to
date.
Can I urge you, if you have not yet drawn up a will, to get this book and
then do so
immediately."
The booklets cost £2 each, but significant discounts are available for
bulk
orders for churches and other organisations.
