MEN AT PRAYER

Join in regular prayer with - and for - men nationwide

Last Monday hundreds of men across the UK joined in prayer and fasting for men in the UK, in a regular initiative organised by CVM (Christian Viewpoint for Men).

It's never too late to pray, so why not take some time in the next week to focus on some of these key prayer topics:

Pray for men in the UK that don't yet know Jesus:

  • in your town
  • in your community
  • in your workplace
  • and your friends who don't yet know Christ

Pray for opportunities to give your own story of God's love

Pray for Christian men in this land:

  • to have the courage to be known as Christians
  • to make themselves known to other Christians at work
  • to act biblically at work
  • to lead others at work to consider the claims of Christ
  • to make friends in their community with other men who don't know Jesus yet
  • to participate in or set up local events reaching out to men

Pray for all men to seek purity and godliness, and to avoid daily temptations

Pray for men to read God's Word and apply its teaching to their daily lives

Pray that the men of the UK, like many Christian women, become committed to prayer

Pray for married men to behave in godly ways and be good husbands, fathers/
grandfathers

Pray for single men to behave in a godly fashion and to pursue God's call for them in 2003

Pray that working family men remember to take good holiday time out to be with the family - who are there for a good deal longer than their jobs!

Please pray for the ongoing work of CVM throughout the UK:

Please pray for the resources to match the demands.

Please remember: don't feel swamped. Just pray as you are able! But do remember to pray!!
