GREETINGS FROM UKRAINE!

Greeting you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

We are a Christian family from Ukraine - Valeriy and Lora Pavlenko. We are looking for people who would like to have a fellowship with us and pray for one another.

I would to tell you a little about us. We live in the capital of Ukraine, Kiev city. Eight years ago, I heard about Jesus from my friend in the University. I attended a home cell with him but my life did not change and only one year after I came to the church, Jesus really touched my heart. Then I repented and Christ came in my life.

After that my life began to change. I have seen absolutely another life with God and I have decided to devote my life to the service of the Lord. I have left my work at a newspaper to study at the Christian seminary in Moscow. After seminary I have returned to Kiev and God has given me work to do at the church in Kiev.

Lord has guided me that I should work with youth on the streets. And we have begun. Now my wife Lora and I attend a church where I work as a youth pastor. When we have free time we love to travel, listen to music, and read. Also I'm a director of the Saviour's Home Charitable Foundation. We work with homeless children on the streets, orphans and teenagers who have no father or mother, or their parents are drunkards or drug addicts.

We try to give material and spiritual help to them and put in their life on a Christian basis. We attend two orphanages where there are babies up to three years old. We bring them food, clothes and medicines. My wife Lora works with with me and she is my best helper. She graduated from the University several years ago.
