ALL ABOUT JESUS

All about rejesus.co.uk - the new web resource about Jesus

The site offers a place to explore the story of Jesus, pray, discuss, be entertained and discover how Jesus is understood, followed, interpreted and worshipped. Rejesus.co.uk encourages visitors to take a fresh look at Jesus and to make a step or two of faith.

Designed for people who are curious about Jesus or interested in exploring faith (but who are not keen to attend a church or a course), the site is a resource for churches and Christians to use in their witness, contacts and publicity – using the internet to connect people with issues of faith and spirituality.

The site has been warmly commended by church leaders such as the Archbishop of Canterbury George Carey, Cardinal Archbishop of Westminster Cormac Murphy O'Connor and Evangelical Alliance general director Joel Edwards, as well as the active support of a wide range of mainstream UK denominations and agencies.

Rejesus.co.uk has five main sections, designed to offer a variety of ways of exploring Jesus and Christian faith and life.

The Story
Download a Gospel, watch a movie of the life of Jesus, and pit your wits in the Pub Quiz. Search for a well-known story from one of the Gospels and tackle tricky questions in the massive Q&A section.

Encounters
View street-level comment from people who were asked, 'Who do you think Jesus was?', explore interviews with ordinary people who have had extraordinary encounters with Jesus, and be encouraged to take a small or large 'step of faith'.

Spirituality
Post a prayer for someone in need, follow a pattern of media-rich daily prayer, join in creative spiritual exercises, or discover Celtic prayer and spirituality.

Expressions
See how Jesus has been imagined and interpreted. View different faces of Jesus, be stirred by poetic insight and see Jesus' words 'Blessed are those ...' through the eyes of a contemporary photographer.

Community
Ask a question, see what others are saying, or make direct contact with rejesus.co.uk to talk about spiritual and life issues, or receive more information, or be put in touch with a church.

A resource for you and your church

The rejesus.co.uk website has been created for churches and Christians to use in spreading the good news. It is a key evangelistic resource for information and exploration of Jesus and Christian faith.

For rejesus.co.uk to work, it needs churches and Christians to talk about and use the site. A PowerPoint presentation can be downloaded from the "Supporters" area of the site. This explains in more detail what the site offers, and how it can be used.
