  • Need a little hope? Hopenet (www.hopenet.net) could be the place, with Christian music clips, Gospel content, and uplifting stories of people who found hope. But do note, this great to look at site is quite heavy on graphics, so may take a while to load. It's worth the wait.

  • www.gospelcom.net/cqod/ - free daily quotations from Christian leaders like Thomas Aquinas, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Bunyan, Calvin, Wesley, A W Tozer and Jim Packer. Read online or get them sent to your inbox

  • www.bibleoutlines.com - free devotional commentaries on books of the Bible for you to download in PDF format (you'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader from www.adobe.com if you don't already have it)

  • Christian encouragement and humour for stressed out women: MaxedOut.net: http://www.maxedout.net/
"Go Straight to the Chocolate": http://www.maxedout.net/chocolate.htm

  • If you enjoy comics - or know those who do - head for the superb www.gospelcomics.com. It communicates the Gospel in one of the world's most popular mediums, and the languages available are quite amazing!

  • The Chad Media Trust, which monitors and supports religious broadcasting and Christians in all areas of media, has organised a Christmas radio advertising campaign across the Midlands. Aimed at 15 to 18-year-olds, the five ads will feature five familiar Christmas scenarios which have been made for the Churches Advertising Network (CAN). Adverts can be heard on www.churchads.org.uk

  • Interested in getting text messages from the Bible to your mobile phone? It's one way of making sure you take in something of God's Word each day, and Bibletxt provides it at £5 a month. More services are to follow, they say.

  • The Damaris Project - not to be confused with UK-based Damaris Trust - aims to set an environment where women can evaluate their experiences in light of an affirming spiritual alternative and in the context of their current worldview. Research on the leading edge of women's issues and the creation of women's networks defines this site.

Check out http://www.gospelcom.net/ibs/bibles/pda/

  • Relate magazine launched last year. If you, or anyone you know, is disabled or a carer, check it out and pass it on. The magazine is currently looking for contributors. The Internet has given many disabled people the ability to reach the world from their computers: http://www.web-evangelism.com/web-disablity.html

  • It's been mission season at the UK's colleges and universities. Check out reports of what's been going on at http://www.thecumovement.org

  • If you've got the wristband, read the book and find the WWJD acronym a vital part of living your faith day to day, check out the official website at www.gospelcom.net/wwjd/

  • "Resurrected.co.uk is a site for those people who can't read the Bible at a regular time each day, or don't have a Bible to hand when they want one. It is particularly aimed at people who want to try something different, and challenges the stereotypical image of the Christian - hence why our site looks a bit dark!" they say. There's also news, pop music gossip and sports info. Resurrected also makes the Bible available for WAP-enabled mobile phones. One rider, though, currently they only use the AV (Authorised Version), although they're looking at getting NIV passages available, too.

  • Premier Radio celebrated its fifth anniversary on air with the launch of a new prayer website last year. It's a supplement to the station's online confessional.

  • Looking for a new perspective on the world? Check out the ultimate webcam - a real-time composite satellite view of the world from outer space
And for a view from deep space, visit the world's most expensive camera - the Hubble space telescope. The pictures are quite stunning.
